Summer Art Camp

REgistration for 2019 summer art camps opens friday, march 1, 2019

2019 camps begin june 10 - august 9

Registration:  Register by week for 8 weeks of art camps for children ages 5 - 8 and 9 -12.  Camps are limited to 12 participants in each age group.  Please register at least one week in advance of the camp start date.

Cancellation Policy: A refund is given to students who cancel 10 days or more prior to the class start date.  Students who cancel enrollment within 10 days of the first class will not receive a refund.

If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, registrants will be notified by email or phone within 24 – 48 hours of the first class. Registrants will be given the opportunity to transfer to another class or issued a refund.

What to Wear / What to Bring:  Kids will get messy so make sure your child wears appropriate clothing and footwear (sneakers are best).  A smock or apron may be appropriate for kids who don't like getting clay and paint on their clothes. GCCA will provide a snack daily.  Please notify us if your child has special dietary needs.  Students are responsible for their personal tools, supplies and possessions. GCCA is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen.

Please be sure to fill out and return an Emergency Contact/Medical Information form on the first day of camp.  Click here to download the Emergency Contact/Medical Information Form.

Drop Off / Pick Up:  Parents and guardians should come to the Upstairs Classroom at GCCA to drop students off and pick students up.  Instructors will not allow children to leave class until a parent or guardian arrives in the classroom for pick up. GCCA can ONLY be responsible for children/students during the hours for which they are registered.  Parents and children are welcome to enter the classroom at the stated start time but students will not be supervised by the Instructor before or after class time.

Completed Art Projects:  Student work must be picked up by the week after camp ends. We strongly recommend that you bring your child with you to help identify the project.  Art projects left after the last day of Summer Art Camp will be discarded.  Make-up sessions for missed camp time will not be offered.  Art projects that are not completed during art camp must be taken home to complete - art camp instructors will not offer additional class time to complete projects.

If you have any questions, please call 864-735-3948 ext. 4 or email Ben Tarcson at ben@artcentergreenville.org.
