Photoshoots in the Gray Loft

The Gray Loft is the former cloth inspection room of Brandon Mill. It is located on the second floor of GCCA and is primarily used for the Art School classes, workshops, and summer art camps. It is a beautiful, well-lit space with original windows and architecture.


  • Rental: $40 + hour plus the cost of membership

  • GCCA membership: The photographer must purchase a GCCA membership prior to the day of the photoshoot.


  • Reservations must be confirmed by GCCA at least 3 days in advance. (Filling out the form does not guarantee a reservation.)

  • Availability is Monday - Friday, 9:30 - 4:30pm or Saturday, 11am - 3pm depending on the class schedule.

  • Social media posts during/about the photoshoot must be tagged with @artcentergvl and #artcentergvl. Location credit must be given to Greenville Center for Creative Arts.

Event Rentals

The mission of Greenville Center for Creative Arts is to enrich the cultural fabric
of the community through visual arts promotion, education, and inspiration.

GCCA is located in the historic Brandon Mill Cloth Building, a beautiful and unique setting to house our programs and events. In addition to ongoing six-week classes and 1 - 3 day workshops, we offer rental opportunities in our gallery and classroom spaces.

  • The Main Gallery and Community Gallery showcase exhibitions of work by local, regional, and national artists.

  • 15 working artists rent studios in Studio Artist Hall on the second level.

  • Rent the Main Gallery for cocktail parties and events or the Gray Loft for photoshoots and select events.

The Main Gallery

  • Located on the first level of GCCA

  • Exhibitions change every 8 weeks, creating an exciting and interesting environment that will be sure to inspire your guests.

  • Capacity: 175 including staff, volunteers, and catering.

  • Approx. 4,400 square feet of a uniquely artistic space, perfect for cocktail parties, artist pop-up shops, bridal/wedding showers, and holiday office parties.

  • Parking: up to 150 spots between the front lot, side lot, and overflow lot.
