A fundamental belief of the visual arts department at the South Carolina Governor's School is that impactful art is generated from continual practice in material, process and intellectual investigation. The artwork in this exhibition showcases the faculty's diversity and reinforces their love for sharing their practice with an emerging generation of artists. This group exhibition consists of nine SCGSAH faculty members and working artists; Marty Epp Carter, David Gerhard, Ben Gilliam, Jeffrey Martell, Cary Perkins, Elaine Quave, Joe Thompson, Carlyn Tucker, and Paul Yanko.
